I don&#039;t think the color of the disks mean anything.  I think the record company or the producer or artist just decided to do something &quot;different&quot; to make the record release special .. so they chose to release it in a color disc format or they might choose a picture disc.  It just a sales gimmick I think.  Hope this is helpful.  

I have a question:  what are the best protective covers to use on records ... the plastic covers.. they offer them in different thicknesses and materials .. please advise which are safe for the covers and which are the best thickness.  Thanks</description>
